Professionals in Adoption

Adoption Referral & Information Service (ARIS) was started, by Yolanda Comparan, MSW, in response to the thousands of pre- adoption and post adoption families that needed resources and the hundreds of professionals that have the expertise to help them. ARIS will be developed over time and with the addition of quality content, information and resources for families and professionals.

ARIS is on its way to becoming the Northwest site and resource organization for:
• Those that have adopted
• Those that want to adopt
• Those that were adopted
• Those that are birth family members
• Those that work with families who have adopted or want to adopt
• Those that want to work with families who have adopted

On ARIS’ sight you will discover:
• Books that are important in the field of adoption
• Links to sites that will increase your knowledge of and keep you up to date on adoption issues
• A calendar that is updated with support group meetings, workshops and new services and products

Accessing information on ARIS’ site is free to families and professionals.
